The Royal Hudson Steam Train will make a special run to White Rock, BC on Monday, February 8, 2010 to participate as a special guest at the White Rock Winter Festival and Bite of the Rock event. The train will return from White Rock to Vancouver on Tuesday, February 9.

Come to the West Coast Railway Heritage Park to relax and cheer on our athletes as they make Canada proud! Enjoy wine, beer and light refreshments and snacks in an adults only environment. There will be two large TVs with satelite for live feeds as well as wireless capability and an internet cafe.

Cadets is a federally-sponsored program for young Canadians ages 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of challenging and rewarding activities.
Air Cadets learn about the traditions of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and participate in flight-related activities. Air Cadets have a chance to earn their civilian pilot licenses through the Air Cadet program.

Russia and Switzerland's women's Olympic hockey teams are inviting the community to watch a practice game at Brennan Park Arena on Wednesday February 10. Admission is free and the game starts at 3:00 pm.
