Brackendale Then and Now

A 57 minute film tracing the social and economic evolution of Brackendale within the larger context of the town of Squamish. It is a story of invention and resourcefulness, of other hardships, setbacks and triumphs encountered by successive generations of residents who shaped the community from its earliest pioneering days in the late 19th century to the present. the narrative is developed through interviews with Brackendale residents, including descendants of the founding judd and Rae families, on-site video footage and a compelling and extensive collection of original photos from a wide range of sources.
