Squamish welcomes the holiday season with the Annual Santa Claus Fly-in & Parade! “Origin of holiday spirit – Traditions from around the world” Watch Santa’s helicopter land at Nexen Beach as he heralds the start of the annual Santa Claus Parade… decorative floats and marching groups will parade down Second Ave. and up Cleveland Ave celebrating this year’s theme “Origins of holiday spirit – Traditions from around the world”. Remember to bring your letters to Santa! CANADA POST carriers will be collecting them as they march down the parade route. A DAY FULL OF FESTIVITIES… Bring the family out and celebrate with the community! West Coast Railway Heritage Park Polar Express running at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm Train ride includes: Santa, Mrs. Claus, cookies, hot chocolate, games, crafts, music, stories and much more! Admission Children (2-15yrs) $18, Adults $21 Brennan Park Recreation Centre Christmas Craft Fair - 10:00am - 3:00pm Book your Table today! $15.90 or two for $26.50 Downtown: Kid’s Zone in the Home Hardware parking lot – bouncy castle & games Community Christmas Care collection tent: please bring a new toy, non-perishable food item or cash donation for the local food banks- help spread the holiday spirit!
